How To Effectively Sell Your Affiliate Products To Become A Super Affiliate?

Hiya, how ya doin'?

Welcome to "The Matrix"... I called the matrix coz it's kinda confusing this affiliate marketing thing, getting yourself unconfused is a must.

So you are now an affiliate marketer or at least planning to be... and of course you want to be a Super Affiliate ( success at it ).

To be a super affiliate first I thought you might be interested to know how to effectively sell your affiliate product.

To darken your grey area, let us compare a real world salesperson to an affiliate marketer.

Salespersons - you see these guys all the times... they come to you representing a company and trying to convince you to buy their product. They highlight the benefits and sharing with you all the whys you should buy their product until it's kinda pisses you off.

And most of us really hate it when someone who tries to sell something sounding pushy, right?... I do! Even when we need to buy something, we still prefer not to be pushed in making decision.

So, basically these salespersons tries to sell to you directly and the companies they represents don't.

Affiliate marketers - and that's YOU!

You represents a company and you can even be an affiliate to many companies at the same time.

What I've discovered is that most affiliate marketers tries to make people click the "buy" button right on the spot on their landing page which is WRONG!

It's not that you cannot make any sale with it, you might... but what I'm saying is that you have a better approach. And it is much more powerful at converting sales.

Affiliate marketers actually doesn't have to sell their affiliate products. What you should be doing is to just suggest to people the check the product that might interest them. Then you can drop your affiliate link for people to click on.

Once they click your affiliate link they will be brought to the product's website. And you don't have to anything from there... let the product owner and their websites do selling for you.

The website will highlight the benefits and the reasons people should buy the products they offer.

Let's recap:

Salespersons - do the selling

Affiliate marketers(YOU) - just suggest others to check out the product they could be interested. Let the product's website do the selling for you.

Pretty simple isn't it?

But wonder why affiliates never do it?

The key to this suggestive selling is to know your target market so that you can be a "friend" to them and provide a reliable suggestions.

You can find many suggestive selling techniques that might suits your affiliate products at Wealthy Affiliate, one of the best super affiliate guide available online.

Now if you are doing what the salespersons are doing you better start changing you game plan. Remember, you are a "friend" to your potential customers.

To your Super Affiliate status,

Why You Should Do Affiliate Marketing?

You'd probably got the same answer as everyone else did... ya' know the obvious stuff like want to be rich quick, tired of your current job or maybe just don't deserved that little pay that you earning right now and maybe a few more reasons you had.

but...

really I'm asking why affiliate marketing?

To put things into perspective... let us follow and try to understand this pattern that I've found out...

It's what I called Business Revolution.

Agricultural Era
Not sure when it all started but it existed until now... agricultural era probably started sometime around 8000 B.C. You may call it science, art, and business of cultivating soil, producing crops, and raising livestock.

This was how majority of the world population earned a living . It's the way for hard workers not the lazy bums. Until today this type of business still exist, however the earning power no longer at the peak.

Industrial Era
The Industrial Revolution was a period from the 18th to the 19th century where major changes in agriculture, manufacturing, mining, and transport had a prolonged effect on the socioeconomic and cultural conditions starting in the United Kingdom, then subsequently spreading throughout Europe.

Almost every aspect of daily life was eventually influenced in some way notably  average income and population began to exhibit unprecedented sustained growth.

In the two centuries following 1800, the world's average income increased over 10-fold, while the world's population increased over 6-fold.(sourced from Wikipedia)

Like the former, the earning power decreased after a new era came and that is...

The Information Age
Is the current age characterized by the ability of individuals to transfer information freely, and to have instant access to knowledge that would have been difficult or impossible to find hundred years before.

The Information Age has allowed rapid global communications and networking to shape modern society.

Also business platform(from the previous era) has been shifted onto a new ground which is the internet, allowing people to earn a living at their own comfort. This is where we are right now.

Affiliate marketing was introduced and so did other internet related business. With internet, many "real world" businesses has managed to grow their client base that reaches far across the globe through affiliate program they'd offer.

Those who joined these affiliate programs are called affiliate marketers (similar to real world sales person but with a little twist) and their responsibilities is to lead people to have a look at a product or services that might be a solution to their problems or might fulfill their needs. If these people with problems find these product or services interesting and they would like to use it then commissions would be paid to affiliate marketers once payment has been made.

(Understanding the little difference between affiliate marketer and the "real world" salesperson is one of the vital key of your affiliate marketing success.)

And YES... affiliate marketers earn money through percentage of commissions which can vary from 3% - 5% up to 70% a product.

People have problems or issues(who doesn't?!) and believe it or not, there is a huge number of people uses the internet each and everyday to find solutions to their problems... ya' know the things like, finding a job to buying clothes, getting a relationship advice to medical advice even pet care to growing toddlers all is being typed in the search engines like Google each day.

For example, if you are currently studying psychiatric(specialize in human behavior and mental condition),you can add affiliate marketing as your career of choice. With affiliate marketing you can lead people who have problems handling themselves to a product or services that might help them solve their problems.

You can find these product and services is being offered online by established health organisations. Just look out if they offer any affiliate program. Don't worry affiliate program is free to join.

There are many psychiatric advice circulating on the internet that even a non-psychiatric background affiliate marketers are taking advantage using it and eventually lead people to find services that is being offered by real psychiatrists... and they get paid regularly and the income potential is unlimited!

Bottom line is, you don't have to be a psychiatrist to work with people who have mental disorder and the best thing is you don't have to wait until you graduated to start working. You can start right away as you are studying.

Psychiatrist is one of the example, you can be an affiliate marketer in any fields from banking to relationship, dog training to dog food, health supplements to fitness program to even fashion, no paper qualification is necessary and you don't have to be an expert because a lot of information are already available on the net.

All you need right now is to blend your interest with setting up your affiliate business properly and mix it with  the right marketing techniques.

This trend is going to be for longer period and is growing rapidly.

So, I hope you could see and understand the patterns and take advantage of it because the earning potential is so huge.

As in anything, there's a learning curve, but unlike the real world where you have to learn almost everything before you can make use of it, affiliate marketing is so much fun where you can apply what you've learn right away... NO graduation day!
